Resubmit an application

How to send an application again after it was denied or withdrawn, and how numbered submissions (S2, S3) work.

When you can resubmit

If an application was Denied or Withdrawn, you may see a purple Resubmit application button on its page. This lets you send the same application again.

Each new try is a new submission of the same application. It keeps the same application number with a submission number added to the end. For example:

  • First try: application APP-2026-0001
  • Second try: application APP-2026-0001-S2
  • Third try: application APP-2026-0001-S3

A small label like S2 shows next to the application number.

If you don't see the Resubmit application button, the page shows a grey message that explains why. For example: This application was denied and can't be resubmitted. Contact the band office for help. For help, contact your band office.

Resubmit

Open the application

Open My Applications and tap the application.

Tap Resubmit application

Tap the purple Resubmit application button. The form opens.

At the top it says Resubmitting with the old and new numbers, for example Resubmitting APP-2026-0001 as APP-2026-0001-S2.

Check your answers

Your answers from the last try are filled in for you. A blue note says Your answers are pre-filled from and the earlier number. Read every answer and change any that are out of date.

Finish the form

Tap Next through each page, then Review & Sign. Follow the same steps as a new application. See Apply for a program.

Submit

Tap the purple Submit Application button.

A message pops up: Application resubmitted successfully!

A resubmission is not saved as a draft. Finish it in one go. If you leave the page before you submit, you start again from your earlier answers.

See earlier submissions

When an application has more than one submission, its page shows a list of the submissions and a box to pick one. Tap a submission to open it.

An older submission is closed and can't be changed. A note at the top says You're viewing Submission and its number, and This submission is closed. To go to the newest one, tap Back to newest submission.

For household programs

For a household program, only the Head of Household (applicant) can resubmit. If someone else is the Head now, you may see Only and that person's name, followed by the Head of your household, can resubmit this application.

If you are the Head but didn't apply the first time, you see Your answers aren't pre-filled, because the earlier submission was made by someone else. Fill in the form as usual.
