Confirm a household change
What to do when someone names you in a household request, and how to confirm it or report a problem.
Why you are asked
When someone sends a household request that includes you (for example, they add you to their household, or ask to move in to yours), the portal asks you to check it.
You may get a notification, and a yellow box appears at the top of My Household with the request and a button.
Confirm the change
Open the request
Open My Household (on a phone, tap More first). In the yellow box at the top, tap the purple Review and confirm button. (If it says Review, you don't have to confirm, but you can still check it.)
You can also tap the notification about it.
The page Confirm a household change opens.
Read the details
Read the message and the list under What will change.
If it is right
Tap the green Yes, this is right button.
A message pops up: Thanks. Your answer has been recorded.
Report a problem
If something is wrong, for example you don't know the person, or you don't live at that address:
Start the report
Tap the light red Reject the household update and report to PBCN button (it has red words). A red box opens below.
Choose why
Under Why? Choose at least one *, tap the square next to each reason that fits:
- I don't know this person
- I don't belong to this household
- I don't live at this address
- I didn't agree to this change
- Other
If you choose Other, type what is wrong in the Other * box.
Send the report
Tap the red Reject & Report button.
A message pops up: Thanks. We've received your report.
The person who made the request is not told who reported it or why.
After a change is approved
For a short time after a household change involving you is approved, My Household shows a grey note: A household change involving you was approved on a date, for example Oct 06, 2026, followed by Something's wrong? and the link Reject the household update and report to PBCN.
If the change is wrong, tap that link and follow the steps above. The page shows You can still reject it until a date.
If you think someone made a household request about you without your permission, contact your band office.
